University. GE&R is comprised of
the Graduate School, the Divison of Sponsored Programs, the Division of
Natural Areas and the McNair Scholars Program.
Eastern Kentucky University
offers over 30 master degree programs with over 80 different options.
In addition, various certification and non-degree rank programs are available
particularly in the College of Education. The Specialist degree in School
Psychology is offered. Eastern also participates in a cooperative doctoral
program in selected areas of education with the University of Kentucky.
The staff of the Graduate School looks forward to working with you as you

The Office of Graduate Education and Research is providing additional
travel support to faculty. Funding of up to $500 can be used to support dissemination
of research and creative activities. See the link below for additional details
and application materials.
Graduate Education and Research seeks nominations for the 2008-2009 GEAR
Scholars program. The program is designed to assist pre-tenure faculty in developing a plan for scholarship. Selected participants receive
a one-course reassigned time for research in Spring 2009. The closing date for applications is April 15, 2008
