Faculty Travel Support

The Office of Graduate Education and Research provides travel support on a cost sharing basis to tenure / tenure-track faculty for the purpose of disseminating results of their research and/or creative activities. Faculty are eligible for one-trip during the 2008 fiscal year. Support is only granted for projects that result in the dissemination of research and creative activities. Administrative functions at conferences such as panel chairs or respondents will not be supported. All requests should include a copy of a notification of acceptance from the conference or meeting. Travel must take place prior to June 30, 2008. Due to funding limitations, we are unable to support multiple authors on a single paper/presentation.

The Dean of the Graduate School and Associate Vice President for Research is responsible for review and approval of all requests. Funding for the program is limited so faculty are encouraged to submit requests early in the academic year. All requests must be sumbitted using the Research Travel Request Form, which can be downloaded from the link below.
